LET’S TALK SLOWLY

Let’s talk slowly

A whisper in the air

A motion full of care

A silence that speaks for itself

A fear that is unbinding in ourselves

Let’s not be too loud

For she will hear us

Let’s talk slowly

In the delayed hour of the night so lonely.

We make it clear

But still, are unaware

Of the emotion so evolving

A sensation which both of us were demanding

With gentle touching the secrets flow

We need each other for us to let go

Let’s limit our senses

For she will hear us

Let’s talk slowly

In the delayed hour of the night so lonely.

We make few advances

Taking and fulfilling every harmless chances

Blending into each other

Like we should be if we were together

We both fear we will get caught in the act

A single fear that pulls us both back

Let’s redefine our alliance

For she will hear us

Let’s talk slowly

In the delayed hour of the night so lonely.

Emotions are unfurling

We are having our momentary spark

Onlookers are dazing and appalling

But we see our light in the dark

Deceitful, false and unfair

Concluding of an immoral pair

Let’s not celebrate or applaud

For she can hear us

Let’s talk slowly

In delayed hour of the night where we have each other only.

Now far from any limitation

She can’t hear us

We have each other’s full attention

Content and pleased, but with a misjudged appraisal

The murmurs and grape-vine never fail to hit us

Let’s whisper

For the ears that are prying

Let’s talk slowly

For that is enough to keep us closely.

We need no one to define us

Yet we continue to talk slowly

For loudness will rescind the gentleness and candor of our story.
